Paternity Testing

Fayette County Health Department offers confidential DNA screenings. The screenings are conducted by our Public Health Nurse.

We do the screenings for various government agencies and also for private testing. We contract through DNA Diagnostics Center and LabCorp for this testing. Any individual wanting a private DNA test needs to contact one of the companies and have them set it up. The company will then call us and make an appointment and send us the paperwork. The results are never sent back to FCHD. The results are sent to the client or to the court.
